Breed Speciality CAC Show Format

Breed Speciality CAC Shows follow the Championship CAC format and are restricted to one designated breed. There is no group competition or separate Best in Show judging. Best of Breed becomes Best in Show and Best of Opposite Sex becomes Reserve Best in Show. If BOS is withheld, no Reserve Best in Show is awarded. The corresponding Minor Puppy, Puppy, Junior and Veteran breed winners receive their respective in Show awards.

Results are official, permanently recorded, and contribute towards KCP championship titles and the KCP Points System. German Shepherd specialty events follow separate formats and are not covered by this format.

Classes

• Minor Puppy — 3–6 months
• Puppy — 6–9 months
• Junior — 9–18 months
• Intermediate — 15–24 months
• Open — 15 months and above
• Champion
• Veteran — 8 years and above

One Breed, Championship Judging

• One breed only, chosen when the event is created and within the organising club's approved scope (the Rottweiler for a Pakistan Rottweiler Club speciality). Only that breed may be entered.
• The same applicable classes, qualifications and CAC judging procedure as a Championship CAC Show.

CAC Competition

• Excellent 1st Intermediate and Excellent 1st Open compete for CAC / Reserve CAC (callback for Reserve CAC as needed).

Breed Competitions

• Best Minor Puppy / Puppy / Junior / Veteran of Breed, Best of Breed (BOB), Best of Opposite Sex (BOS).
• Best of Breed is contested by the eligible male and female Junior class winners, CAC winners, Champion Class winners and Veteran class winners, up to eight exhibits. Earlier Best Junior and Best Veteran decisions remain binding when those dogs compete together again. Best of Opposite Sex is selected separately from the eligible opposite-sex candidates.
• There is no group competition.

Show Finals

• There is no separate Best in Show judging. Best of Breed becomes Best in Show and Best of Opposite Sex becomes Reserve Best in Show.
• If BOS is withheld, no Reserve Best in Show is awarded.
• The Best Minor Puppy, Puppy, Junior and Veteran of Breed winners receive Best Minor Puppy, Puppy, Junior and Veteran in Show respectively.

Stud Book 2 Dogs

• Ordinary class placements only: no CAC or other award, so never Best of Breed, Best in Show or Reserve Best in Show.

Configurable by the Administrator

• Breed, Classes, Competitions, Awards, and Titles are configurable to accommodate future KCP-approved amendments.

Championship Titles

• Pakistan Champion, Pakistan Junior Champion, Pakistan Veteran Champion, Grand Champion.

Points

Points are awarded by the number of dogs defeated at the highest level achieved during the show, counting towards Grand Champion qualification, Dog of the Year, and Hall of Fame rankings.
