Ms. Elizabet Anne Caminade-Lavault FCI JUDGE

Elizabet Anne Caminade-Lavault (FCI Judges Number FCI2)

Born in London, I was raised in Zimbabwe from 1972 in an animal-filled home where my family bred Briards and Griffons (Bruxellois, Belge and Petit Brabançon), along with Pomeranians.

From an early age, I was immersed in the dog world, beginning with Junior

Handling and going on to handle a variety of breeds to Championship titles. I started ring stewarding at 16 and took on my first judging appointment in 1994.

I gradually earned my judging qualifications in Southern Africa and am now proud to be an FCI International All Breeds Judge. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of serving as Secretary for both specialist and All Breeds clubs, held an executive role with the national governing body and was Treasurer for the Kitwe Animal Welfare Society in Zambia.

Now living in Chester, England, with my partner of 34 years, Grant, where we relocated for our son Michael’s education. Judging has taken me around the world and I’ve been fortunate to officiate at national and international shows in Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Cyprus, Ireland, Thailand, Norway, France, Denmark, Lebanon, Malta, Canada, Estonia, Monaco, Italy, Portugal, Spain, The Philippines, Finland and Japan.
